Best Facial Wash for Acne Prone Skin

I know how hard it is to conceal acne especially when among friends. This agony of having breakouts on my skin has haunted me for years. But thanks to these two best facial cleansers that have worked wonders for me. And I swear to Almighty Lord, my skin has never felt so clear before.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser (normal to oily skin) for Acne

Fighting acne is like being in a constant war with your skin and diet. I have oily skin and having to deal with acne is something I’m very familiar with. The best way to stay away from acne is to deep cleanse your skin on daily basis which is why Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser is a great product.

Its composition includes Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate which is the basic cleansing agent, and some amount of glycerin which helps the skin from over drying. The formula itself is a clear, almost gel-like liquid that has slight foam once mixed with water. You can use it even to remove makeup as it is not harsh on the eyes. It is suitable for skin that is normal to oily which means that people with sensitive or dry skin should rather go for a milder option.

Neutrogena Visibly clear spot clearing facial wash for Acne

Neutrogena visibly clear spot clearing facial wash is undoubtedly a great product for acne prone skin. It is dermalogically tested and recommended for people like me who have constant acne issues. It is a gentle daily cleanser which contains 2% salicylic acid that not only removes acne but also helps to clear the spots that are left behind.

If you have oily skin then this facial wash is perfect for you because it is oil-free. Make sure to use it only once during the day as it can over dry your skin. The skin feels much fresh and radiant right from the beginning and you do not have to wait months for the results to appear. Another amazing feature of this face wash is that it closes the pores on the sensitive areas of the skin, thus preventing you from breakouts.

I hope these products help you as much as they have helped me over the years.

Let me know what your favorite cleansers are for acne. Cheers xoxo

I think cetaphil facewash is much better, because many people have oily skin problem so this facewash is perfect for their skin. 👍

    1. Thanks for the comment and I agree =) However, I have tried them both and they are almost equally effective. Having said that, Cetaphil works best for some people as does Neutrogena for others esp those having intense acne issues.

I use Neutrogena cause I have extremely oily skin. I haven’t used Cetaphil. I should give it a shot tho. Thank you for this post. ☺️

    1. Hey, Tanya! I think you’re going to love this because I am pretty sure Cetaphil is very gentle on almost all skin types. Let me know how you liked it =)
