How to use Ginger for hair loss

Nowadays every woman is fighting with the problem of hair loss or has a complaint that their hair has stopped growing. Luckily, Ginger is not only used to add taste in food but it is also used in treatments for skin and hair. The strong properties of ginger make it an excellent remedy for hair regrowth. Due to, ginger you can completely get rid of hair loss because it is one of the ideal ingredients to use to prevent hair loss and promote hair regrowth naturally.

How does ginger aid in hair loss/hair regrowth

The fresh ginger root contains magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, and vitamins that make hair stronger, healthier, and shinier. Furthermore, it is rich in fatty acids which help prevent the thinning of hair.

Besides hair fall it is also essential for hair growth, prevents dandruff, improves blood circulation.

In the past, I had dandruff problem and due to which my hair started to fall but after using some hair treatments from ginger, as a result, my hair has grown beautifully, hair loss has stopped and dandruff has been cured. the results were so amazing So, I thought I should share this with you people. So, the first thing is;

Ginger oil for hair loss

Ginger oil is best for your hair loss or hair regrowth but the problem is you cannot always use pure ginger oil on your hair because it causes scalp burning. Therefore, it must be used with other oils and in addition to that ginger oil is very expensive. The ratio to use ginger oil is 10% with any other oil (coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil etc.)

I used homemade ginger oil to treat my hair loss problem.

DIY Ginger oil recipe for hair loss

100 grams olive oil

25 grams fresh ginger (pieces) or ¼ part of oil


Cook it for around 45 mins on low flame or until the ginger is brown or lightly burnt. Afterward, Take a piece of cloth add the brown or burnt ginger and press it to take out all the juice from it to the oil and your ginger oil is ready, voila!

Apply this oil on scalp and leave it for 15-30 min and then wash it off.

How to use this ginger oil for hair loss

2 tablespoon Ginger, mustard, and coconut oil

Method :

Mix it, apply on scalp and leave it for 30minutes and then wash it off.

*Use twice a week for best results.

Hair booster serum recipe

Garlic peels/skin

Dried curry leaves

3-5 tablespoon water

1 tablespoon black peppercorns

Ginger thumb size cut into pieces

1 cup coconut oil in a jar


In a pan roast(light brown) garlic skin and dried curry leave for 2-3 minutes. Add water black pepper and ginger mix it and let the water dry. Add this to the coconut oil when the water dries and mix. Your hair booster serum is ready. Apply it on your scalp for 30-1 hour and then wash your hair.

This serum has everything that our hair needs. Nevertheless, it will make your hair follicle thick, cure dandruff, give shine to your hair and prevent hair loss.

Ginger paste for hair loss

Blend ginger with a small amount of water apply this paste to your scalp and let it sit for 45 minutes to an hour. Rinse it out with water

The ginger paste with its powerful antimicrobial and supporting properties will control hair loss and empower hair regrowth. Generally, this is one of the least complex and most proficient approaches to utilize ginger in your hair care routine.

There are many ways to utilize ginger to prevent hair loss. I have tried the above treatments and thus, proven to be greatly effective.
